The intoxication of Daytona Bike Week Challenge

Brace yourself, this year's Daytona Bike Week promises to get even more spectacular and mind-boggling, as it ever was. Coming to you on 29 February to 9 Daytona Bike Week in March is a whole week of motorcycle competitions and adrenaline rushes.

Before we get into this year's event, we take a look at the simple beginnings of this great and important motorcycle rally. The first rally officially began on 24 January 1937 with the first run of the Daytona200. But as the Second World War broke out, had gas rationing, causing the cancellation of the race in 1942. It was again back on its feet on 24th February 1947 and as they say, the rest is history.

Today, the Daytona Bike Week is one of the most hotly anticipated event in the motorcycle a keen cyclist and those challenges for the real live motorcycle racing. Some of the expected events in this bike competition among AHDRA Motorcycle Drag Racing, Daytona 200 Motorcycle RaceWeek, racing in all events, and several custom bike show, show, including the Rat's Hole Custom Bike.

But the wheel of the competition is not all about motorcycle racing only. Activities such as Big Daddy Rat's Custom Chopper Show, coleslaw wrestling and going to the beaches do not fail to keep alive the spirit of the people. Apart from the events on the beach, there are also a number of attractions that you would enjoy visiting. The Kennedy Space Center is just an hour south of St. Augustine, the "nation's oldest city" is an hour north, Sea World is one hoursand 10 minutes south-west and the Walt Disney World, a place that would inspire all ages, is west of 15 minutes to one hour. Do not forget to ride, glass bottom boats at Silver Springs, or a trip to Universal Studios Florida and the Cypress Gardens theme park.
